Sat 8.30am 22.5 The easiest way to get out to the Keukenhof Gardens from Amsterdam -- take the direct bus from Amsterdam Airport Schiphol. The Connexxion bus organization offers a "Combi Ticket" from Schiphol that includes a 35- to 40-minute bus ride plus the entrance fee to the Keukenhof, which totals € 19.

From the Leidseplein/Museumplein you can take the red Sternet bus 197 to Schiphol Airport (busses run 5-6 times per hour). At the Airport you can change to the Keukenhof bus 58. You can buy your combitickets at the Tourist Information desk at the Trainstation and at Leidseplein.
From Schiphol Airport
The bus 58 runs on Monday till Friday 4 times an hour and in weekends even 8 times an hour and leaves Schiphol from the bus station at Schiphol Plaza bus. The journey to Keukenhof takes 35 minutes. The last bus back to Schiphol leaves at 19.22. International trains from Paris, Berlin and Brussels also stop at Schiphol.
Buy tickets from the Amsterdam Tourist Information Offices (called "VVV" offices) for Bus 58 from Schiphol direct to the gardens. The buses leave every 15 minutes from the second island outside the arrivals-level entrance at the airport. See the Keukenhof website for more information.

Amsterdam's Central Canal Belt, which arcs in a semi-circle around the Central Station. Start at the station and head south to the Damrak; this most conspicuously touristic street in Amsterdam is loaded with souvenir shops whose wares run from tasteful to hilariously kitsch.
Dam Square & Koninklijk Palais (Royal Palace) & National Monument
2.30pm  At the end is Dam Square, with the Koninklijk Palais (Royal Palace) to the west side (2 mins walk) and the National Monument to the east (3 mins). Step into the palace and admire the 17 illustrious rooms of Empire-period decorative arts.

3.30pm Gothic Nieuwe Kerk (New Church) ,Westermarkt
5mins walk to Take a peek inside the Gothic Nieuwe Kerk (New Church) and check out the temporary exhibition if it appeals. Then head west on the Radhuisstraat to the Westermarkt (8mins walk), site of both the Homomonument – a sensitive memorial to all those persecuted for their sexuality – and the Westerkerk, whose 85m church tower, the tallest in Amsterdam, rewards climbers with a lovely panorama.

GVB also offer a ticket suitable for multiple use of public transport. A 24 hour ticket costs 7.5 euro, 48 hours 12 euro, and 72 hours for 16.5 euro. These tickets can be purchased at GVB opposite Centraal Station, and are stamped once on your first journey and are valid for the period stated.
For 22 euro you can also get an All Amsterdam Transport Pass, which for one day offers unlimited use of the tram, night bus, metro and canal bus.

From London Airport to London Euston Station
At Gatwick Airport the train station is integrated into the South Terminal of the airport. From exiting customs into Gatwick Station is about 100 yards
If you are flying into the North Terminal a free monorail link shuttles between the North and South terminals every few minutes and is free of charge. At the South Terminal its terminus is adjacent to the train station.
At Gatwick Airport station there are lifts and escalators down to the platforms.

Starting off in Trafalgar Square again, this time we will head east up the Strand towards the Square Mile.

Trafalgar Square is home to Nelson’s Column and two huge galleries – the National Portrait Gallery and National Gallery. We heartily recommend that you spend an hour whiling around the National. The tour ends a little further down the river at the world-famous London Eye. This is the largest observation wheel in the world and takes about 30 minutes to revolve. Airport transfer from city to Stansted Airport
The Terravision shuttle bus service operates from Stansted Coach Station with departures every 30 minutes to Victoria station and Liverpool Street. You can get to Stansted from both these stations on the same shuttle bus too. The journey from Victoria is around 75 minutes and the one to Liverpool Street is around 55 minutes.
