				From Airport - There are 2 buses between The airport in Prague and the city - no. 119 and no. 100. Bus 119 goes to subway station A ( green )line “ DEJVICKA ” and then it is 2 – 4 stops to the historical centre of Prague Bus 119 runs between the Ruzyne Airport and Dejvická metro stop ( line A ). Connections run every 7 to 20 minutes and the ride takes 20 minutes (20 min are night and Sunday intervals). Bus 119 leaves from the second platform outside the Arrivals terminal and runs from 4:25 a.m. until 11:40 p.m.
		22.35		Dejvická - Depo Hostivař-Štěpánská -24mins -24czk The 119 bus departs from the airport, which is taken to the metro station Devicka where you take the green line to Mustek. After exiting the metro on the Vaclavske Namesti side, you walk one block, make a right on Stepanksa street, and follow it about 8 minutes before it becomes Lipova street after crossing the tram lines
				walk from  Štěpánská to Dahlia Inn : Head east on Ječná toward Lípová -Turn right onto Lípová - 2 mins walk. Alternatively from Mustek station - Stepanska station 8 mins then walk to Dahlia Inn -2 mins walk.
				Buy TIcket - Arrival hall at public transportation counters located in Terminals 1 and 2 (open 7:00am to 10:00pm), -ticket vending machines located at bus stops, or if arriving late and all shops are closed buy a ticket directly from the driver but note that large banknotes are not accepted. Tickets cost 32 CZK ( approx. 1.2 GPB). When buying a 32 CZK ticket for public transport you will receive a transferable ticket allowing you to travel for a 90-minute period. Price when purchased from the bus driver is 40 CZK. Note that if you are carrying any large pieces of luggage i.e. a backpack or suitcase you will need to purchase an additional ½ price ticket. You can also take the No.100 bus which will take you from the airport to Zlicin - the underground station of the yellow line (B) that leads to the town centre (Mustek station). If travelling at night, catch night bus No 510 (between midnight and 3.30) from Prague airport to the tram, heading for Divoka Sarka, then take tram No 51 to Dejvicka underground station or (Namesti Republiky or Wenceslas Square).

		9-11am		Vyšehrad is the very first seat of Czech princes and kings, since the first coronated Czech king, Vratislaus I, lived here. Also Charles IV paid close attention to Vyšehrad as a place connected with the Přemyslid tradition. In the nineteenth century, the Czech National Revival movement sparked interest in this place surrounded with myths. A tour will guide you through all the interesting moments in the history of Vyšehrad, the history and decoration of the capitular Basilica of St Peter and St Paul, significant personalities buried at the Vyšehrad cemetery and other interesting buildings at Vyšehrad. It is also possible to visit casemates, vaults built in the fortification, where the originals of statues from the Charles Bridge are currently being deposited. Several viewing points offer astonishing views over Prague.

				The square is surrounded by New Town Hall, the Church of St Ignatius and the Jesuit College, the Faust House and a Czech Technical University building. There are also numerous monuments on the square itself.
				To get to Karlovo náměstí, you can either walk (follow Vodičkova Street from Wenceslas Square or Spálená Street from Národní třída) or take line B of the metro or tram 3, 4, 6, 10, 14, 16, 18, 22 or 24 to Karlovo náměstí (10mins from Vysehrad)

		2-4pm		Emauzy – The Monastery of Slavic Benedictines
				The monastery was founded in 1347 by Charles IV as a part of his plans to unify the Greek Byzantine and Roman Catholic Churches. Benedictines got permission from the Pope to use Old Church Slavonic in Roman liturgical services, and consequently Prague had a monastery with Slavonic liturgy. On a tour through this unique place you can see a cloister with Gothic paintings, a Baroque refectory, imperial chapel and Church of Our Lady.
				Take the tube (yellow line B) to Karlovo Namesti (following the exit sign to Palackeho Namesti) and from the park nearby you should be able to see Emauzy only couple of metres away.
		4-6pm		Evening walk on Petřín
				The walk starts at the funicular that will transport you to the top of Petřín hill. An evening atmosphere may inspire you to visit the local mirror maze or the Petřín observation tower from which you can enjoy unforgettable views of our capital.
				Open till 22:00 Tram stop: Take a tram to Ujezd (trams 12, 20, 22, 57). Then, take the funicular railway up Petrin hill (cost cover by travel pass).
				Plzeňský Restaurant – From Ujezd take tram 12 to Andel. located very near the Anděl metro stop on Nádražní street 114 (walk 2 mins). It has a very big façade so you are unlikely to miss it.

		9-1pm	14	Prague Castle has been the seat of Czech princes, kings, and also presidents in the modern history of the state, since the end of the 9th century. The long tour of Prague’s most significant monument will present to visitors not only the history and structural development of Prague Castle, but also the personalities connected with the castle, and other interesting things. The tour comprises all courtyards, leads around the St Vitus, St Wenceslas and St Adalbert Cathedrals and the Old Royal Palace to Jiřské Square, from where it continues to the Golden Lane and to Opyš. It is also possible to see some of the buildings’ interiors (St Vitus, St Wenceslas and St Adalbert Cathedrals, St George’s Basilica, the Old Royal Palace and others).

				A large complex of monastery buildings belonging to the religious order of Premonstratensians was established by prince Vladislav II and Olomouc bishop Jindřich Zdík in 1140. The monastery acquired its current form during early Gothic and especially Baroque reconstructions. Places of interest in the monastery include the Convent (Cloister, Romanesque Halls, Chapter Hall, Winter Refectory), Strahov Gallery (a collection of Czech and European paintings from Gothic to Romanticism), the Basilica of the Assumption of Our Lady and historical halls of Strahov Library. 80 CKZ entrance fee
				Tram: Walk 4mins to to Pražský hrad (Head southwest on Hrad II. nádvoří  from Castle)  then tram 22 or 23 direct to Pohorelec. 				A walk on the Charles Bridge will present the interesting history of this oldest preserved connecting line between both Prague embankments. Special attention will be given not only to its beautiful sculptural decoration, but also to the Old Town and Lesser Quarter bridge towers.

				The Old Town City Hall offers two tours. You can climb up the stairs to the Town Hall Tower and enjoy a beautiful view of Prague’s historical centre from a height of almost 70 metres. The second tour will take you through the city hall’s interior (a chapel with apostles, historical halls and a Romanesque-Gothic underground). No less interesting is the city hall’s exterior, dominated by the remarkable Old Town Astronomical Clock.

				A monumental gate leading into the Old Town. The Gothic building dating from 1475 was designed by Matěj Rejsek. It was used as a gunpowder storage facility. At the end of the nineteenth century it was rebuilt into its present form by J. Mocker.
