Mozart’s Birthplace, a small apartment that blends in along the street.

Salzburg Fortress, known to locals as Festung Hohensalzburg. This is the largest and best-preserved fortress in Central Europe and is quite an impressive sight. From Old Town, take the cable railway to the top of the hill. Enjoy stunning look out points and wandering around the historic grounds that date back to 1077.

More than 400 years Palace with its famous tricky fountains with guided tour. A must visit. After the tour, please visit the Palace and its garden. It worth the visit and the price. Go before 4.30pm for the tour. Allocate more time for this Palace and the Fountain tour.

Drive from Munich at 8am, pick up rental car, 2 hr drive + remember buy winshield ticket from petrol station











 Be sure to stop at a gas station/rest stop after leaving the airport and buy the Austrian Vignette (toll sticker for driving on highways in Austria). Sold in Germany after leaving the airport. Cost is 9 Euro for a windshield sticker for 10 days. DO NOT drive on a highway in Austria without this.

The Nordkettenbahn trip has a total of 3 different legs:
1st leg: Hungerburgbahn (tram) from Innsbruck up to Hungerburg.
2nd leg: Cable car from Hungerburg to the Seegrube station.
3rd leg: Seegrube station to the top station, Hafelekar station.

If you lucky, there will be snow at the top and allow you to have snow activities.
