street is similar like San Francisco. The tourist heart of Motomachi is the
area close to the cable car to Mount Hakodate and three churches nearby to
each other, there are Russian Orthodox Church (函館ハリストス正教会),Episcopal Church
(聖ヨハネ教会) ,Motomachi Roman Catholic Church (函館 カトリック元町教会) . Those three
churches are beautifully illuminated at night. Also visit the Old Public Hall
